Master of Applied Data Science

Graduated Cum Laude — 9.25/10 Average

From 2023–2025 I pursued the Master Applied Data Science at the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN). The two-year, 60 EC programme sharpened my expertise in modern data-driven research and production-grade deployment. I graduated cum laude on 26 June 2025.

A practice-focused graduate program

The curriculum combines rigorous methodology with hands-on, real-world projects. Highlight modules include Predictive Modelling, Data Exploration, Model Deployment and a 16 week Graduation Project, culminating in a public defence.

This practical orientation aligned perfectly with my approach to data science. The program reinforced that the best model is worthless if it doesn't solve a real business problem or can't be maintained by the team that inherits it.

Average grade 9.25 — awarded the distinction cum laude, placing in the top tier of graduates.

Course summary

The program structure balanced foundational theory with applied projects. Each module culminated in a practical deliverable—not just an exam.
